Breitling Avenger Black Titanium

Hi All,

I went the other day to the Breitling shop to try the new Black Titanium Avenger lines. I fell in love with the watch and considering to buy it but need to get your feedback on the following:

- AD is willing to give me 15% discount, is it good or I can get more considering that it's a new model.
- Sales person kind of warned me by saying that black models have to be handled in care as they are not hard working and can not be polished

Happy New year and Merry Christmas to All

Not sure about your country, but breitling models can be gotten at 25-30% off, even new models. Shop around a little more.
Black dlc coated models definitely will show signs of wear through time - it's inevitable.

13-15% is normal at most breilting dealers. If he can do 20% off id jump on it, still a good deal. Otherwise if you want 35-40% off look for a used one online

From experience, discounts vary based on the model. On a Navitimer 01, you might get 15% off but on a not so hot model, you might get a 25%+ discount.

I personally would stay away from any DLC watch. Although DLC holds better than PVD, I have owned a few DLC watches over the years and while they look sharp new, they do and will scratch with normal use. The huge problem is Breitling will not polish them when you send them in for servicing. If I’m not mistaken, you can get a brand new DLC case from them when you service it but it will cost you a lot of $$$. At least with a steel watch, you have the option to polish the scratches out if you wanted to. Good luck with whatever you end up doing.

I purchased a Avenger Hurricane 45mm for 3800 Pounds BNIB with a 5 year warranty. In-house chrono movement withe Breitlight case. Stunning reference, I love mine.
