You did well but just imagine how much fun it would be if you owned the rose dial and the aubergine.

Welcome to the forum.

I agree with what others are saying.
Well chosen and congratulations
Yours is a classic combination that will never go out of style and looks great on your wrist

For the enabling factor.
The Aubergine dial may be well suited to a style of watch that is a little more casual.
And from where you are now you could up the ante with something one size down that has a president bracelet and diamonds for every indicie and or a White Mother of Pearl combination if that is your style.

Congratulations on your new watch. The Aubergine dial is beautiful, but the Rose dial has an elegant and classic look. Visually, it's very traditional but simultaneously, gets the modern vibes.

LOL. I know, right? I am already on the list for my next Rolex but yellowgold this time with diamond markers. We will see when I get the call. I have to save up for it first!

IMO, you're asking for trouble if you don't go with your first choice...it just gnaws at you.

The rose dial looks great, but only you are going to know if you can live with it.

Agree as to everything. It looks great!

There’s a reason you immediately went for it when you saw it. It’s gorgeous! Enjoy! I think the purple isn”t as versatile a color for every day.

I’m also a woman with small wrists. I’ve worn my 29mm ladies’ Yachtmaster for over 20 years. The big watch trend isn’t for everyone. My husband’s 40mm Sub and GMT are way too big on me. I bought myself a 36mm DJ, which everyone thought looked better on me than my YM, but it felt too big. I gave up on it after 18 months. I also bought a 15-year old used Air King, 114200, the first COSC reference and a 6-digit (with upgraded clasps). I wanted a weekend casual watch (no date to set). It has a really pretty silver dial with blue indices. It’s a 34mm which looks better on me than the 36mm. I wouldn’t want to wear it every day, and it’s certainly not a dressy watch. I bring this up because there is a place for more fun, casual watches, and as others said you may still want to scratch the itch with a less expensive watch than your TT DJ.

The AK 114200 is, I think, a great sleeper watch with a lot of playful dials. There’s also a silver dial one with pink indices. As others pointed out, you can also find a purple dial watch from another brand, for weekends etc.

Enjoy!

Gorgeous watch, and it looks terrific on you! I think the dial you chose is perfect. I do love the monochromatic look best, and I am a huge fan of the everose RG. I love RG jewelry, and I love Rolex's version of it best.
