Both are special editions, I believe they were recently released for sale at Panerai Boutiques only.
The 448 should prove impossible to buy directly... the 449 Im not sure - but would guess the same! |

thanks - yes, that is what i am fearing as i start to do more and more research on them...
THOUGH, the 425 doesnt look too bad, for a 'stock' un'special' edition - ive always loved that torpedo logo :) |

I would wait until there are enough 425's on the market for sourcing one at the right price. Or you can go beg your boutique or AD for the special edition watch as if they are doing you a favor in buying their watch! |

I'm picking mine up tomorrow, my friend owns a boutique and it's been HARD to get LOL.... He's only getting 2 in, and it's one of the premier boutiques in the US! |

Congratulations in advanced!
I sold my 249 to one day replace it with the 448...let's see if I made the right decision. |

I'll post up a thread in the next day or two.. I always wanted the 249, never got around to owning it... So looking forward to this, hope I warm up to the rad and love it ! I have a tendency to think things are too shiny/beautiful and put the notion DRESSY on it and not enjoying it fully :/ |
