Purchasing vintage from UK

Has anyone ever purchased from UK Specialist Watches? I'm looking for a Red Sub and this one looks very nice, if I could get it for the right price. Also has anyone in the US ever had any problems with purchasing watches in the UK? One last question... does this watch look correct?? Thanks

Shipping a Rolex to USA hasn't been a problem for about a year now, no need to worry about the grey market protection anymore.

Thank you for all the advice. I was unaware of a problem shipping to the US. I'll ask them tomorrow if they ship internationally. Thanks again

One thing to keep in mind are the hands on both the watches you linked to..
They both look like luminova replacements and don't match the dial plots.

2nd red also has a 704 crown.. not a big deal, but things to keep in mind.

Thank you, I just exchanged emails with Jacek from HQ Milton and he is looking for one for me. So I'm in pretty good hands now!

However, it appears that these restrictions have been lifted as of early April. After speaking with two different U.S. Customs officials, we have received confirmation that Rolex watches, both new and pre-owned, can now be shipped into the United States and the company no longer possesses “Gray Market Patent Protections.” The lift of these Rolex importation restrictions can also be confirmed on the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol website. Notice that the page says “NO” to “Gray Market Importations Restricted.” While the officials offered no details and did not elaborate on the matter, it is clear that the restrictions are no longer in place, which means that Rolex watches can now be imported into the United States. We will continue to update this post as more information is presented to us.

Thanks, That was an interesting read. I had no idea that customs could just confiscate your rolex and auction it off. Even though the restrictions have been lifted, I think I would still be a little nervous to have one shipped!

I wouldn't risk it it just takes one person to confiscate your watch and it's gone be safe speak to Jacek as you mentioned or I very very highly recommend Andrew Shear he's a top guy extremely safe hands
