Help with 1675

What you guys think about this 1675 dial and hands are they luminova service variant ?

Thanks for the welcome and for the reponse, I suspected that it is luminova as I heard of luminova dials marked with t<25 but I wanted to ask anyway. May I inquire what is "toothpaste" in this context ? Thanks.

The name "toothpaste-dial" was given from Marcello Pisani (R.I.P.).
They are always service dials. The indexes of those kind of dials are not SL and not Tritium. They do not glow, are very even and have the look of slightly aged tritium. The material used for the indexes looks a bit like toothpaste.

Thanks for the link, guess I learn something new everyday :) I am considering this GMT and I am rather content with service parts as long as they are original and not redials.

I have never heard, nor seen, "tooth paste" GMT service dials - I've only seen them on the Submariners. Most of the GMT service dials were tritium and later were luminova. Some of the early luminova dials had the tritium SWISS T<25 identification on the dial. The later ones were marked SWISS and are super luminova.

From the photos posted here,it is hard for me to tell what type of service dial is on this GMT.

^^^this is my experience as well. Some of the early lumi dials still had the SWISS T<25 on the dials. Seen this with Subs and GMT's.

Pics in better/different lighting will help determine the luminous/non luminous material for the hour markers on the service dial.

Thanks for the responses, I will try to ask the seller for more pics of the dial, do I understand you correctly that you are merely not sure which service dial it is ? Or are there doubts whether it is even genuine ?
