Is the sky- dweller case thicker than a date/date ?

It's 15.1 mm thick I believe.

Seems to be one of the more commonly asked questions. I wonder why Rolex doesn't list case thickness in the specifications, along with the other dimensions

SkyD is 14mm, SD4k is more like 15mm.

Sky Dweller is 42 mm thickness = 14.1 mm (IRL it looks big !)
Sea-Dweller 4000 /16600 (149gr) & 116600 (173gr) both 15,0 mm thick. |

Will need to try one on... I like the SS blue dial a lot, but it needs to be well proportioned (not like DDII).

Dear 50 peso, if you are asking about thickness as you are thinking of getting a skydweller and you are used to a day date it is quite a bit thicker but the surprising thing that effects comfort (at least for me) is the weight! I have a PM skydweller so it’s even worse but it took months before I stopped focussing on how heavy it was! Trying on for 10 mins isn’t a problem but after an hour or so you will notice, I can wear a full gold watch and not even feel it after the skydweller.
