Marconi Watch

Can anyone tell me about this watch? Model? Year? Caliber? Just sent out to be serviced.

1950's manual wind watch.

This Marconi has NO connection to Rolex whatsoever....

I would try and get it back, not worth getting serviced, unless it has sentimental value.

No sentimental value. Advertised as Rolex Marconi for repair. Guess I was duped. Have not found any information on a Marconi brand besides Rolex. Not worth returning to the UK. Cut my losses.

I know nothing of Marconi and their relationship to Rolex ........... but I think it's a cool looking old watch ! If it is serviceable, I would save it and WEAR it !

This watch is in the same category as the later Unicorn watches. Marconi and Unicorn after the late 1940s split from their partnership with Rolex and have zero connection with them. In working condition with a new crystal, you have a $150 watch. Service and labor for the crystal will far exceed its resale worth.
