Buying a 15400SR TT ... maybe

Anyone have one? Perhaps they can share some pics / insight / opinions on pros and cons on this piece?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, i do not have one but it is one of the least popular models in the Royal Oak line-up. Are you buying brand new?

well, its TT but you know that already. Personally i am not a fan of TT in general. That one however is about the nicest looking TT watch of any brand i have ever seen. They really do it well and I do like it. I don't know for sure but i suspect resale would not be as strong compared to SS, probably similar to TT resale with other brands as far as depreciation.

It's an awesome watch. I would still own it if I hadn't decided to go full gold. It wears more dressy to me than either the stainless or full gold models.

Prefer the all gold one myself. Don't see many TT versions probably could get a good discount on them.

I saw one in person a few weeks ago in Philly side by side with an all steel silver dial. The TT was a beautiful piece.

Under the showroom lights, the gold hour markers reflected light into the dial creating a subtle light golden glow in the dial. It was not extremely noticeable until I put it side-by-side with the all steel version. Out in the wild you may never be able to tell.

I never thought I would be interested in a TT piece, but this one definitely change my mind.

The bezel is nice but the spotty bracelet, like on the Nautilus, is not for me. I would rather buy PM on strap if full PM is too much.

I see one about 2 weeks ago and I can compare with SS.
It's a very beautifull watch but that rose gold bezel I think it's very expose to scratch, dents...
But in the end this is AP!
And about resale value I think is not easy to sell it!

I wouldn't buy one brand new, but I rarely do that anyway.

I bought my 15400SR about 6 mos old. I owned it a month before I bought my 15202OR, and at least broke even, maybe made a little money on the deal.

Buy it right and forget about resale.

TT AP is the only TT watch I'd get. I think it looks beautiful.
