No model or serial # between lugs and no hallmarks.

I would open it up to check the movement.

There's a number here, between the lugs - should be the unique serial number of the watch (looks like a 9 and a 2 there). At the other side the model number is usually shown...

OK my friend - I thought I could a decipher a 9 to the left of it!

Also, isn't that a hallmark on the underside of the lug?

To the OP - you have to examine the watches - a lot of info is there.

You are correct, I see something there after enlarging it but can't tell what it says.

Really what do the hallmarks you 've seen look like?

To the OP likeley a 1005 or a 6564. Most likely 14kt as most of these were.

I can't make out what it is, but would have thought it would be the hallmark there - or should be!?

I agree anyway - best to open the case and see what's inside!

be aware that if no serial or model numbers showing or most worn or polished off this does hurt value of watch.

Both of these watches are over 50 years old, late 50's, early 60's. They are both relatively small at around 34mm (modern Air King size)
