First "serious" vintage acquisition - help!

I could greatly use the forum members help...

I am looking at a 1665 Double Red Sea Dweller MK IV with 4.0 serial in original condition. The dial is in excellent condition and the case is unpolished. The bracelet is a 93150/585. The box and papers are not available.

What is the range you would pay for a watch like described above?

Pictures are necessary to give a proper valuation.

Looks like MKIV Dial. I think serial number is in range for those, but I'd wait for the experts to be sure it's not a replacement case (4M range) and for comments on any other issues.

If it's correct, it's a great looking example.

Good luck!

Looks pretty damn good. Pristine DRSDs fetch $25K range I believe.

Very nice looking if legit. I'm sorry I cannot provide a value but maybe in the 25k range as others have said

Looks nice

If you've done your research and there aren't any red flags, the watch is around the level what the others are saying. That's what I paid for mine. Here's a pic for comparison.

MKIV 78' 5.2Xm serial. bought last year. Hope this helps!

The watch looks amazing. The only nit picky thing (Personal pet peeve) is the crown guards being a bit over polished. Other than that, perfect
