Is this 1655 genuine?
Hello,
Does this 1655 look genuine? I sense that the bezel is likely not correct but the rest seems ok to me. Appreciate fellow expert views. |

Straight hand should be on first and second dial series, so; early. This appears to be a MKI dial. Bezel ring looks like a MK4/service version, or after-market to me. Not an expert!

if you use google's image search, you may see that this particular image shows up in another very old topic:
http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/162466...se-mods-added/ Make sure that the seller really has this particular watch in hands! |

Correct dial and second hand, not so with the bezel.

It doesn't appear to be a "short stick" one on the bezel. It is likely a service bezel.

A little OT, I followed that link to the rwgforum site and did a little cursory looking around (no further than the Rolex forum) and it seems there is a lot of accepted chat about making fakes. That creeps me. I hope I'm wrong.

Take a look at the one Patrick (a very good trusted seller on the TRF) is selling. It has the appropriate bezel.

I'll personally vouch for Patrick (aka OCROLEXGUY). I've had 3 perfect face to face transactions with him.
