An amazing but unexpected incoming!!!

Love the watch, at launch the white dial was my first choice but now a little time has passed I am definitely more into the black as my favourite. P.S. and that photography... wow... I wish I could see the world in such beauty through my eyes!

Sorry to hear that the AP Diver didn't work out. That would have been a bummer, but it's very reassuring to hear that Takuya (Thanh) was able to go above and beyond to make things right for you. No wonder he is held in such high regard on TRF.

Thanks very much guys! Yes, Thanh Do is incredible. Super easy to work with, extremely nice guy and is as professional as it gets. Obviously he's working for it and I'm sure makes some money, but I really believe he enjoys making his customers happy.

Thanks very much! It's about as different as it gets form the diver. I'd still like to have a diver one day, but in truth, I'd love to get my hands on a ceramic diver. Only fate will see if that happens ;)

Harvey (and for anyone else who was set/ordered a white Daytona C),

Before you pull the trigger, try and get a look-see at the black IN THE FLESH, in addition to the white dial, IN THE FLESH (not through pictures). I realize this will be an almost impossibility because of the rarity of this watch and even more impossible to see both at the same time. I was fortunate to have lady luck on my side when I got "the phone call" and able to see/wear both.

My heart was dead set on a white Daytona C (from pictures on the internet) until I saw and wore both. It was NO CONTEST and an instantaneous decision on choosing the black. There really is no comparison. The black is so much richer looking.

Of course, always in the eye of the beholder, but these pictures that Chadri posted are EXTREMELY accurate. I know, I said don't go by pictures - but Chadri's pics show how the black shines in more ways than one and confirmed that I made the right choice.

Congrats.... the black does look great !!! no doubt about it... but I have to say that I'm very happy with "white" ... enjoy... it's a lovely watch... I'm wearing mine today as part of my rotation and it got a few admiring glances (and a couple of nice comments) in my local coffee shop this morning.

Yeah I completely agree. I know all the sellers make money but I feel like Thanh really had a personal touch and likes to make friends with his clients and goes above and beyond for them.
