How do YOU clean your Rolex?

Wash it with hand soap and warm water. Do it about every 2 weeks. I've done it since 1970 on 7 different Rolex. They always look good and they're clean

That's an easy one. My dogs lick me at night. One generally ends up licking my arm. I position my arm in such a way that she/he eventually ends up licking the watch. This is also how I clean my plates and glasses.

I clean my vintage ones with wet cloth only.
I take showers (sometimes with my subs or gmt) but it is not enough as some dust and dirt stay under the bezel and between the links.
I bought a very soft toothbrush to clean all these unreachable spaces. I do this once a week or two weeks.
Screw the crown first for sure :)

For the stainless 16030 DJ, I remove the movement and crystal and put the bezel, case, and bracelet in a heated ultrasonic cleaner (a commercial one with a transducer). A metalworking friend recommended Simple Green diluted with water, and it gets phenomenal results. Then rinse, dry, and reassemble.

I don't do this often, though. In the short term, dish soap or Simple Green with a soft toothbrush works well.

One of my dogs licks it sometimes. If it is particularly grimy, I wear it in the shower.

Ok my last post here about the pressure washer was obviously a joke. For my vintage watches I give them a wipe with a damp microfibre rag when I've worn it for a few days. Once the clasp gets grubby and stinky I get out an ultrasonic toothbrush and dip it in a little soapy water and go to work on the hard to reach areas. Then I wipe it off with a wet microfibre and dry with a towel.

For my modern watches I just wear in the shower once every few days and use the toothbrush method as needed. Usually only once every few weeks.

I also have a dedicated microfibre glass cleaning cloth that I keep next to the watch case. My watch gets a quick wipe with that every night before it goes to bed.

Off wrist and using small soft brush and Dodojuice wax friendly car shampoo and warm water remove dirt and grime from caseback, bezel and bracelet. Try to get any hidden dust and dirt out from there to stop it grinding away and making the bracelet slack.

Seriously though, I do use a couple of drops of this on a soft tooth brush when it's nearby...who doesn't like the addition of a synthetic wax for the bling? ;)

I recently ordered and am now using Wristclean (Veraet) product. I am a fan now, even though I was skeptical going in. Not a night and day difference, but to me there is definitely a difference and I find myself using it once or twice a week on our watches.

I use Ammo Foam paint cleanser from Ammo NYC. I obviously clean my car with this too. Great stuff. If you clean your car a lot, a little once a week for your watch is practically free. I foam this stuff up, clean with a dedicated toothbrush, then rinse. I then dry with a microfiber towel. Once the water is off, I’ll hit it with a hairdryer for a minute to evaporate the water in the nooks, then finally buff again with the microfiber towel.

The advantage to this soap is that it’s aggressive on salt, sweat, and grime, but not too aggressive on the metal itself.

Finally, don’t forget to open the easy link extension because I’ve noticed a lot of lint and dust settling in the hook of the “easy link” link.
