Just a quick tip for totally eliminating any metal to metal contact between the links and clasp. This should eliminate any scratches since the easylink adjust in and out 5mm. As a byproduct it makes the bracelet when adjusting the easylink whisper quiet as no metal touches against them self. I used a "Rolex green" (or any color) thin felt sticker, cut in half and placed it on the underside of the clasp where the easylink makes contact. Cant even tell it on there. The felt stickers are usually used for the under sides of a vase to protect your table tops. Buy these in a pack of 30 for under $4.00. Just replace with a new one when needed.
This is a simple idea but seems very effective.

You can even use this idea on the older clasp where you can micro adjust in the clasp.

I use 3m venture shield. Same thing as clear bra for your vehicle. Check it out sometime

Enough, considering where it is positioned at and not on your skin. The clasp even pinches them in place so I can't see them ever coming loose from activity. They are less than a penny a piece so I figured I would just slap on another one if they start to look bad or peel. I have washed my watch a few times with them on and they stay put. The beauty of the felt is it actually quiets the metal on metal contact.

Thanks, I put it on my glide lock. I won't be able to fully adjust the clasp, but it will save me some scratches.

Left my new watch with Rolex dealer to buff out a ding and it came back with the tell tale clasp burn. I took it out with a q-tip with a piece of cape cod cloth wrapped around it. Will try the pad asap. Thanks!

That's a good tip, however i don't find myself bothered about that kind of wear on the link, is normal due to how they lay over one on the other. Even the clasp when folded leaves some marks, it's normal wear

This but with 3M. And on the link each side tf the clasp that get clasp wear marks. 3M is practically invisible, waterproof and non discolouring
