Rolex Submariner has been Stolen - Advice Please!
Hi all,
I was wondering if someone may be able to help!? I am absolutely distraught and angry because I was mugged in Berlin where I was visiting at the weekend with some friends for my Rolex Submariner which is my pride and joy! I had travel insurance but this was not to the value from the watch and is partly my own fault, to be honest. But I was wondering if anyone has any advice as to what I should do now and whether there is a lost or stolen Rolex list? I am not stupid though and pretty much understand that I will never get my beautiful watch back but perhaps there is a process that someone else might have gone through which is similar to mine? I went to the police and got the police report but insurance just won't cover it but maybe one day it will go back for a service or at least I can make sure people know it is stolen somehow - here's hoping anyway! Thanks in advance from a very upset and angry former Rolex owner!! Best wishes, Jamie |

Edit your title to include the watch's serial number
A lot of buyers google the serial number before buying just in case something comes up so hopefully people looking at your watch will find this thread And sorry to hear about this |

I'm sorry to hear it.
As mentioned earlier, post the serial number here so it becomes searchable . Any prudent buyer will google a serial number before purchase. Also notify Rolex. They keep a stolen watch database and if it ever comes into Rolex for a service they'll forward the matter to the police and you may just get your watch back. It's happened before, sometimes many years later. |

Terrible news OP! Hope you get your back.
Recommend you share as much info as you can on the watch.

So sorry. I would join all the German watch Facebook groups and post in there as well. Most WISs worldwide would be willing to keep an eye out for you and many smaller jewelers are part of those groups as well, so offering a reward for return/info might not hurt.
