How Many Watches have you Bought 2 or more times?

Hey Everyone,

I am just curious after picking up the Hulk for a second time today:

How many watches have you purchased 2 OR more times?

Edit: Poll says just two but meant to say two or more. Of course if you purchased a
watch more than twice, you have purchased it AT LEAST twice...LOL

Must be exact same watch. Kermit and Hulk doesn't count for example.
Must be same color and reference number (different years ok as long as same reference and color).
It is ok if purchased new, trusted seller or preowned as long as same model and color.

For me it is 3.
1) 16610 black purchased twice
2) 116520 white purchased twice
3) AND TODAY 116610LV purchased twice

Please do share watches (Rolex or other brands) you have purchased 2 or more times.

Here is my returning LVc TONIGHT and Lv-ing it ...AGAIN

Hulk twice, deepsea twice as well. I sold my first g-serial deepsea because after owning it I realized I really wanted a mk1 dial. So maybe that doesn't count. I now own a m-serial mk1 dssd thanks to DavidSW.

I sold my hulk because I realized it was a keeper and I wanted to buy it new. Am currently on the hunt for a new piece. Will probably pick one up on my honeymoon overseas some time next year.

I've done it once to date. Bought my first nice watch three times... the same exact watch (I tracked it down each time). I finally realized that I was more attached to the memory of the watch and not the watch itself. Have not missed it since then.

Curiously, why do want to do that buy/sell the same watch over and over? For me it's none since I still have almost all the watches I bought over the years. For the few that I sold, I don't feel regret that I need to buy them back.

Happy to say "none". Curious though why would someone buy, sell, and re-purchase the same watch - let alone doing it multiple times? An unexpected financial downturn I suppose could require selling, and repurchasing when the situation improved, but multiple times? Seems like a good way to burn cash.

116600 twice. Had to rebuy it after they discontinued it. Speedmaster Professional like 8 times. It's a hate/love relationship and now I think it's here to stay.

That is a good point Mike. This definitely applies to my 116520 white, which did not last long the second time around.

One. The LVc. I never disliked it. I flipped it because it held its value so well and I knew I could get another no problem. 3x

Mine was a Seamaster 300 in titanium 2231.80. It was my first Swiss watch which I acquired when I was 17. Why I let that go I had no idea and ever since it's departure I've always regretted that. Ten years later I managed to get it back thanks to DavidSW ;)

Same. Only watch I sold (non-Rolex) was because I bought before trying on, it did not fit well, and there were no regrets; otherwise, I still own all my watches.

Four 16710 (still own three)
It's a sickness if a see a nice example, I a man always tempted to buy it. For me the ultimate is the fat lady, the extra mm (probably less) makes a big difference.

Reminds me of some folks who marry, divorce, then remarry their ex.
Ok I get it. You made an impulsive mistake the first go round, but multiple times?

Can't fathom it myself.
