Rolex 6085 bracelet question
Found a nifty little 18k Rolex 6085 semi bubble back with explorer dial. Could anyone possibly point me to some information or a source for a riveted bracelet?
I'm assuming that it would be a solid 18k to match the watch, or did Rolex use plated or shell bracelets for these? Thanks in advance for any help and assistance! |

The year of the watch would need to be known since early 1950s to the late 1950s were completely different in end links and clasp design. Either way, be prepared to spend a hefty sum if you can actually find a correct bracelet for it in the first place.

You will pay MORE for the bracelet than you paid for the watch. However you are buying a blue chip item that you can basically hold and sell at any time. Honestly I believe that band should have straight end links not flush fit....unless it is a very late one. 19mm ends

I have a 6085 that was made in 1950. I would be interested to see what you come up with as I'm not a huge fan of leather straps.
Here is mine and hopefully you can find something. |
