Seiko SLA 017 on a vintage tropic strap.
Swapped out the diamond rubber strap for a tropic, which really suits this watch. The diamond strap is quite nice, but I really love that that tropic is thinner, shorter and has a vintage look which goes perfectly with the 62 MAS design.

Thanks Descartes for sharing the pics on the tropic strap.
I got one recently and hesitated to mount it as I think the existing waffle strap is almost perfect. If there's two things I want to change on the existing strap -- 1) to add another tab to secure tightly the strap, or 2) to make the waffle strap shorter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks great! Can I ask where you got the strap? Thinking of ordering some for mine. Also, is it 18 or 19mm at the lugs?
Thanks! |

Cool! This watch is going to be fun with a bunch of different straps, I think.
