15400st blue variation

Hello,
Did the shade of blue on the 15400 blue changed from I to J?
I did some search on the forums and found pics of I serial and they look greyish and kinda flat unless under light. But I seen pics of 15400 with this really bright sparkly blue like the 15450
Met a friend today with a J serial and his has the greyish flat blue.
Just wondering if those pics being posted are taken under light to bring out the sparkly effect or when did AP make the switch.
Thanks!!!
