16600 or 16610 LV

Can't decide between these two classic watches. Not a huge fan of the cyclops but I like the idea of having a little color as opposed to all black.

This would be a daily wear watch or at least in the rotation. The LV I'm looking at must be one of the less desirable serial numbers as it's not priced like the others (it is listed by a trusted seller). Budget is 7,xxx or something like a subc date/no date... love the glidelock on my SD4k makes it hard to go back to the old bracelet.

LV for me, the maxi dial/hands are perfect, imo. And, you can change out the green bezel easily, and cheaply, for a black. (Keep the green obviously)

Of the two listed I prefer the black dial SD. If you are talking the modern 116610LV then that would be my choice. No way would I pay the premium being asked for 16610 LV.

Definitely the 16610LV since you already have the SD4K and keeping it.

A dash of (green) color would do you good :)

As already mentioned the Maxi Dial & hands in the classic sub case are hard to beat.

Get the LV. Gives the classic a great spin.

I chose the LV. The color as well as the maxi dial. The old style bracelet is quite comfortable.

I would get the LV and then find a glide lock clasp and/or bracelet here in the accessories sub-forum (I believe there's one for sale right now).

LV no doubt but that's coming from a 116610LV owner so green is clearly my thing.

Here's the wrench. Clean unpolished 116600 lug holes box and papers no tool..relatively rare...trusted seller. Unpolished 16600 lug holes are hard to find.
