Your eye glass, how strong your eyes are now

Long story short, I went from +0.5 to +1 within 3 years, for close up reading or laptop but I tell you straight that my distance is not like in my 20's

I'm 47 going strong on 48 in less than 6 months and didnt had any glasses before 3 years ago.

What to expect now? Going +? each 2/3 years?

They say going old makes you appreciate life more but you need to see that coming, pun intended

I had cataract surgery last March with multi focal lenses put in. It's like Amazon delivered me 2 new eyeballs. No more glasses. I sure wish I had done the procedure earlier.

If it’s just general presbyopia for reading only, I’ve read that it tapers off in many people.

But if you plan ahead, then buy 2 pairs for each mag level: 1.5, 1.75, 2.0, 2.25, 2.5 - that should last you into your 70’s…

It’s like buying futures on the market - the prices will surely rise so the “cost avoidance ROR” ought to top 10%/yr.

I know about these procedures, they are recommended like in your case when changing to often becomes a pain in the a..

I will take the advice and start buying incremental lenses
Then sell it once the market gets on the peak :)))
