Hmm, i wouldn't use the word "antithesis", yet like the 1969 Woodstock it was a 'sign of the times'. Society changes, ebbs and flows, and so Woodstock 1999 was, in a sense, what it was 'supposed to' be.

Note: There were no stabbings, no shootings, etc as you'd 'expect' if there was a Woodstock 2022. Also, during '99 i didn't see anyone getting roofied, no Rolex timepieces were stolen, etc.

EPIC!!!

Imho i think a combination of lackluster subcontractors for sanitation / clean water and trash / cleanup (removing all the bottles, etc on the lawns and airstrip) was a larger contributor than factored in by many. It's human psychology and all that, and yeah imho. The outrageous pricing of bottled water and food did not help matters.

PS: Just moments ago added about 30 more pics to the 'Never before seen' part of my report. All pics are now as full res as ye ol' 1999 Olympus digital camera could do.
