Looks like fun. A weekend off after working several back-to-back races.

Where are the skimboards?

Jessie, how does a rotor-head get to hang out with such beautiful women all the time?

Buy any chance do they have any sisters that are attracted to short-fat-ugly men with no money or personality?

My girlfriend belongs to a Dragon Boat Team and was racing in Washington today... So I was there supporting the paddlers.

For those of you not familiar, the image below is what dragon boats look like. This isn't an image from this weekend but it is an example of a Dragon Boat. These are the smaller 10 person boats, whereas she is on a 20 person boat ( 40ft. ) In the front is a person keeping time on a drum, in the back is a tiller person steering and in the middle are the paddlers or the horsepower.

I received a partial athletic scholarship to play Lacrosse in College. After fall workouts we were free for a few months before spring workouts started. I played football in high school (wasn’t very good) but after the fall workouts I was not used to not being on a sports team. So, with the permission of my Lacrosse coach, I tried out for the crew team. I mean, how hoard could it be right?

Boy did I suck.

Paul, Brian is right... you don't need any explanations or excuses. You did what millions of kids ( and adults ) dream of. And by the way... thank you for your service.

Does everyone in Toronto area have a cottage???

It must be like NY where everyone heads to the Hamptons/Martha's Vineyard.

In Alberta, we just went to Banff and slept in a tent. Our summer home was made of canvas. Or a cardboard box filled with straw.

For Monte Python fans.......I know, I know........you dreampt of having straw, but could only find .......

Well we do love the big water and the sandy beaches, but I wouldn't call it the Hamptons.

Thanks. That would be fun.

I've only been to TO once with my wife to a conference and all the guys there had a cottage, and you hear of the hockey players in the offseason all staying at "the cottage"

I though it was maybe an Ontario thing where everyone had to leave the city in August.

Have fun. The puppy is so damn cute. Beautiful family.

Concert in the park, 55 mile bike ride, out to dinner with the wife, power wash the back patio, a few errands and watch a movie or two. Business as usual.

I’ve spent plenty of summers vacationing in the many lakes of Ontario Canada and the Hamptons and believe me Brian it’s not even a contest, Ontario is paradise in comparison.

You're still stuck out there, Chewy?? Man, thought SOMEONE would have rescued you by now...

BTW, I tried on the Oysterflex Yachtmaster after purchasing this and it definitely didn't feel like it was worth paying 3x what I paid for the Omega. I love that I can beat this watch up and not worry about anything due to the ceramic case (except maybe dropping it at the right angle ). Enough gold in there to make it different as well. Only downside for some might be the 43.5mm size, but it actually doesn't feel that large because of the black case/strap combo.

Maybe it's because I already have a couple Rolexes, but the Yachtmaster just didn't so it for me. It's a beautiful watch, to be sure - I'm just not willing to spend for it.
