I got a 14060 as my first Rolex in late 1994, so almost 30 years. Traded it in for a 16660 SD in 1999 at a Rolex AD. I wish I kept that Sub as well.

Twenty-seven years give or take. My first was a humble 34mm Date I bought used that lasted me eighteen years. Ran reliably at -5 SPD the entire time without a service but eventually the seals gave way and the ocean won. RIP humble Date.

I bought my first Rolex in 1997. It was a two tone Thunderbird with an oyster bracelet.

In 2002 I bought a SS/platinum Yachtmaster which I wore daily until 2011 when I purchased my grail (here on the Forum), a SS Daytona with black dial.

In January 2023 I bought a SS Sub with date from the local AD which I currently wear while my Daytona spends most of the time in my safe box.

I am currently on the list for the new style SS Daytona which I anticipate will be for several more years lol.

In 1968, I bought a used 34 mm Oyster Perpetual. I was in the Army and needed a reliable watch. Paid less than $100.00 for it. My, my how times have changed.

45 years. I bought my first when I was 15 and it was a brand new 1680 sub. Wore it exclusively until 1995 when my gave me his OQ DD upon graduating from Med School. Been adding ever since.
