Marathon Navigator
I've been looking for a Marathon Navigator with the IDF Duvdevan markings for a while. They've been sold out. Finally came across one yesterday and pulled the trigger.
Excited to hopefully receive it today or tomorrow. Will post pictures when I get it. Anyone else have a Navigator? What do you think of it? Thanks! |

I have a owned a few of them. They look better online imo. I think I was expecting to much out of them. They are a super basic plastic watch.
Enjoy it. |

Just arrived an hour or so ago.
Will post a more in depth review in due course, but my first reaction: 1. Smaller than I thought it would be. 2. Not sure I love the plastic material. 3. Very happy with the rugged look / legibility / simplicity of the watch. 4. Classic tool watch that can surely take a beating. 5. Really like that Marathon actually supplies watches to the Canadian, American and Israeli armies. 6. Feels good on the wrist. Wouldn’t want to wear it everyday, (obviously the Rolex’s and Omega’s will still get much more wrist time) but a cool addition to the rotation. Thoughts? |

I like mine as a “don’t care what happens” kind of watch. I mainly use it as my outdoor adventures watch where the light weight makes it almost unnoticeable. Used it on a couple of domestic trips when I first got it where the 12 hour bezel was handy to use rather than resetting the hands, but not enough to make it a routine for travel. I also use it on the very rare occasion when I want some lume in a very dark environment (again, usually outside in a dark area). I should add that I’m really a basic 3 hand watch kind of person and don’t feel the need for anything glowing on my wrist. A little more money than I think it should be but overall satisfied with it. It nicely fills a narrow niche for me.
