Hey Logan, thought I'd change it up since you are wearing yours.

March 5, somehow I just knew you'd be wearing it.
So I figured I'd balance things out.

Logan, had a day out today hitting up all the watch spots midtown has to offer...got to see 5270 new & old in person side by side...it was a very positive reinforcement of your choice
The contrast, balance & subtlety of your subdials is most amazing!

Ps i also was able to strap on the 5170

Only disappointment is my celphone camera is just terrible!

Hi Gus. Doesn't matter, post the pics please. What about the 5270 and 5170 side by side? Thoughts?

Only took pics of the platinum daytona today...im still using a blackberry:)

The 5170 & 5270 are just to different to compare, they are as you know just in different leagues for me, i still like the simple chrono, but in person the 5270 dial really was lovely, by comparison to other PC's the 5270 was very uncluttered, really just a beautiful execution of such a classic

Also got to try on the 5196P, I liked it more than i thought i would, it was very slim & seemed to wear a bit bigger than i would have expected... However, Hard to justify value wise

Congratulations on your new Patek. It is my favorite.

I've had mine since October 2011 & still VERY special to me. Really nice in the leap year as the number four is in red. Loved that!!! I may be interested in purchasing "your" 5170 if you don't mind telling me where you traded it.
