Banned Users

I was just reading through old threads (Geez, I need a new hobby), and I've noticed that I would randomly see a post from a banned user. Curiosity sufficiently stoked, my next goal would be to read their old posts to see why they were banned. And generally speaking, it was always hard to figure out why. My baseline assumption is that these users were banned for legitimate reasons, but I was just wondering what kinds of things gets people banned. Undue hostility or scamming in the classifieds would make the most sense to me.

Anyway, I was just curious if the long timers had more insight.

Just follow the simple forum rules then youself or anyone else would not be banned, but don't follow the rules then its a quick exit off forum.

Yeah, I figured rules violations are the big driver of banning. I guess my question was more to the point of how easily people were banned. I assumed it was for egregious things, but I guess not necessarily.
