I logged off for a few minutes and came back on and the green box was flashing next to the few posts I left unread brfore I logged off. Before they would've turned green.

As far as the speed goes, I'm finding it slow tonight also. When I'm on in the am, this doesn't happen.

I found it slow last night from home, this am at the office (on a T1 line) and now at home again. There's been no difference in speed. The slowdown occurs when I open a thread, try to reply to a post, and go back to New Posts. Within a thread, it's running as fast as always.

How 'bout we have the software limit the number of posts JJ makes on a daily basis to say... five. This will force the BKL to actually think about his posts before plastering the forum with so many posts.

How's that for a thought?

Already taken in hand, when JJ reaches 14000 posts a little program will make his computer self destruct. As a reward to all the rest of the forum.

I've just had a thought. Is it possible to have another link bar at the bottom of the screen? The one with "UserCP FAQ Members List etc" This would save me having to scroll to the top of the page all the time.

Thanks in advance.

I'd like to be able to click on "New Posts" without having to scroll to the top of the page. You can't do that in the box you mention.

Hey, that's less than 700 posts to go. It's only about 2 days worth at his rate. By next week at this time, all will be quiet.

Earl,
I did not mean the avatar. I meant on the profile page. A second picture there different than the avatar.
I am a moderator on an unrelated board that uses the same shell.

There is one thing.
I would like to see the NEW POST option at the bottom of the screen.
I read all the way down, and then have to scroll back to the top for options or hit the "Back" button.
If this buttons at the top, could be also at the bottom, that would be great.

Mark, congrats on the tweaks, changes and additions that have been, and are being, made to the board. We all appreciate the sensitivity that you and the mods are showing toward the membership. I belong to many forums and boards, and this one is superior by far in every way - not the least of which is the membership itself. Top shelf!!!

Have you noticed how much better it's gotten since a certain BKL has been glued to his telly watching a bunch of people kick a round ball up and down the grass?
