If Rolex drops AD, would Tudor line remain in store?

It appears that Rolex is discontinuing their relationship with certain retailers that are not part of Rolex's latest strategy (not enough sales, not enough population, not enough $$ in demographic, etc.)

I read here where they've dropped AD's is Savanah & Sacramento. I bet you all know of many others.

My question is, if Rolex pulls Rolex line from an AD, would they allow Tudor line to remain in the store?

I know some small AD's sell other brands, like Omega, Breitling, Tag, etc. Theses shops may not care about Tudor. But I know shops where they dropped other lines to focus on Rolex & Tudor. I wonder how that will end for them...

There are a lot of stores that sell Tudor without Rolex, so I am not sure why dropping Rolex at an AD would mean Tudor has to go, too.

Good to hear and I hope you are correct. I fear that a local AD which I like will lose Rolex before too long. They either lost or dropped Omega and Breitling. They're down to Rolex, Tudor and Tag, plus jewelry of course.

Yes, this happened to a local AD here in Dallas. They no longer offer Rolex, but still are a Tudor AD.

Yes. Tudor and Rolex dealers are NOT mandatory to be the same (carry both products).

Sad to see some of these Mom and Pop Rolex dealers disappear. There is certainly charm and warmth in these boutiques that you don't necessarily find in the large retailers. End of an era, I guess...

It happened to the only AD in a small town I know well: lost the Rolex AD status a few years ago but has kept Tudor.

A local AD has lost their Rolex status but continues to sell Tudor. I have a feeling this is Rolex's way of consolidating Rolex locations to keep up the prestige and scarcity meanwhile allowing Tudor to remain more mainstream and readily available.

It is with mixed emotions, for some of the smaller ADs, that they have lost their “status.” The status that required them to have dedicated displays, which have been mostly empty for the last 3+ years. What had been a gravy train for years, had dried up. My AD lost their status after 50+ years. Sad.

My local AD just lost Rolex. My SA told me they were looking to bring Tudor in. They have never sold Tudor before.
