Not 1, But 2 - Rolex Buy

Hello Everyone,

First I would like to thank all members and moderators of the forum for a place like this.
So, I came across your this page while watching a video from He Spoke Style on youtube about buying your first Rolex, he suggested the forum for resources, interacting and finding out information about Rolex Watches.
Just a few hours ago I purchased Not 1, But 2 used vintage Rolex used watches.
Rolex Air King 5506 Super Precision & Rolex DateJust 16030 -
I will disclose my prices later on, not sure if it was good buys, but definitely need advise as to what to do next. Please give me your suggestion and options, they are all welcome. Below I will let you know what I'm thinking of doing. Again, please give me your suggestion as experience user and modorte.

Rolex Air King 5506 Super Precision - Seriel# 3888xxx
Thinking of having service it by Rolex directly. Is this a good idea?
Looking to get new strap, not sure what should I go with. Any suggestion may be great to have an idea which way to go. If you have pictures, please send.
I plan to wear the watch on a casual basis, maybe business diner etc.

1984 Rolex DateJust 16030 - Seriel# 8472xxx
Thinking of having it service by Rolex directly. Is this a good idea?
Any suggestion on what else should I do?
I'm thinking about using this watch as a daily.

See pictures attached.

Again, thank you in advance for your comments, suggestions and ideas.

Update - Watches Received

Hello,

Just wanted to give everyone an update on my purchases. Not too happy at all with them after receiving them, and I don't think I can return them.
The good thing is that both watches are real Rolex, not fakes of frankenstein - Well, the Air King obviously doesn't have an original band, but I knew that.
I'm posting some picture for you to see.
Again, not happy with any of my purchases, but I will keep them for now until further notice.
Trying to get a refund ASAP.

What's wrong with them? Do you feel like they aren't in good enough condition for what you paid or something? They are nice looking pieces.

++ UPDATE ++

I have return both watches with with a 7.5% restocking fee. Better than the entire amount that i spent on them.
I can tell you for sure, I'm going to buy New unless I find a very good used rolex dealer.
I will keep you all posted.

Hmmm..sorry to hear you didn’t get a great first experience. Did you purchase here from the forum?

I can tell you the 16030 DJ should’ve come with an acrylic crystal, not sapphire, unless that’s been replaced. Also that bezel is engine-turned, not fluted. Are you mostly interested in dress watches?

Not really only into dress watches, that is the reason I bought these two and it was a fail!! ...I like sport watches and I would like a nice dress watch as well. I don't have any dress watches at the moment.
