Do you guys wear your Rolexes while sleeping?
Kind of a dumb question in a way I suppose, but I've read a post or two about people wearing their Rolexes "24/7" and also someone said he hadn't taken his off in 3 weeks. Literally or figuratively speaking? That is the question. Now part 2 of my question is how long have you gone without removing your watch?

Yes, I sleep with mine on.
I haven't kept track but I'm certain there will have been times I've gone over a year without taking my watch off. |

yes I sleep in mine. Only time i've taken mine off is when cycling. Had a fall last year and damaged an old Tissot beater (as well as breaking my arm in two places)...Not risking that with the Rolex but literally never off other than that.

When I take off my DJ it's either in my watch winder or it goes back in the safe if I won't be wearing it the next day.

I leave it on when I sleep, and I leave it on when I shower, but I take it off when I feel myself falling asleep in the shower. Too much risk doing both at once.

Only once, by accident I had actually taken it off and dozed off but I awoke with it still softly in my clasp (like a small delicate baby mouse) in the foetal Position. I find it a little sharp to sleep with. I slept with my Seamaster on every night though.
Putting on a Rolex in the morning is a nice wakeup step I find ;)

Never. I've yet to have an occasion of needing to know the time WHILE I'm sleeping...

Nope, I never wear any watch while sleeping. I also take it off before I do maintenance jobs or other "heavy" manual labour to protect the watch from damages and scratches. I don't baby my watches, but I sure keep them away from hazardous situations. While I'm sleeping God knows what I do, so I wouldn't risk leaving my watch on.

I dont ever look at it when I am asleep so in the safe they go!!!
I used to wear an omega seamaster chrono years ago 24/7 had it for years and never took it off, went in the sea, shower, bed, night clubs, sport and after those years it looked really bashed up and the seals went and the hands were begining to perish. Don't want that with my Rolex's so I take a lot more care now!

Oh Boy. No.
BTW, What's the average discount I can expect on a Stainless Steel watch? Sub date vs. Sub No Date? Can I wear a Sub with a suit? Where is the best internet site to buy a Rolex? Do you wear your watches loose or tight? Is it risky to wire money to a person selling watches on the internet? |

2) Why do you need a date if you're on a Sub? 3) Yes, but I don't know how you would wear a ship 4) Assembledrealrolexxinchina...dot com 5) So tight that it turns my hand blue. I don't want ot to fall off you know. 6) Only if the wire between the two cans breaks.
