Dubai airport duty free Rolex
Hello,
This is a long shot but what the heck, going to Dubai next week and I am curious how high (hopefully low) a Rolex Submariner black dial in the Rolex shop at the airport cost. Has anyone been there recently? Best Regards Norreas |

Been well over a year but the prices were far higher than here in the states and the Dubai airport AD would not discount at all.

I look at the rolex counter every time I travel from here and although a great selection of watches, prices are high.
The AD In Dubai Mall was cheaper and offered a 10% discount. Hope that helps. |

Was there a couple months ago, they had many of the sport models including the one you want, dd, djll, and women's. They would not budge as far as discounts.
Now since they only had two subcs when I was there, both were on display and both looked like they'd been thoroughly handled, no stickers on. If there was a particular model they didn't have they offered to track it down, but would take 2-6 hours depending where they were sourcing it from. Good luck. |

Hmm I guess Dubai being an ultra rich exotic location is not the best place to buy then as I guess they have no probs shifting Rolexes!!

When i passed by the Dubai airport early part of last year i found the prices to be high and the sales girl was just standing there like a robot. Which tells me they would not discount at all.

From my experience, watches are usually expensive and they never offer discounts.

I was set to purchase two Omegas from the AD who was also the Rolex AD and when I asked about a discount if I purchased two they stated the did not offer any discount.

Don't expect much of a discount outside of the airport either. Virtually everyone seems to wear a Rolex in DXB so they have no shortage of punters.

Every AD here in Dubai is mobbed out the door with Chinese and Russians so no shortage of buyers in addition to the Gulf state residents.
