$2470 for a wrong bezel insert!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Genuine...vip=true&rt=nc

I feel sorry for the buyer...

He pulled a MilSub insert he had listed yesterday, and made mention of it on VRF

Some coin was dropped on other inserts as well. I was too wary to bid.

I also saw from the same seller the milsub insert.
I friend of mine bought one from a famous seller $10'000...
It was difficult to tell if the ebay one was original or not.
This red triangle bezel is easier to spot.

Thanks Ronnie for posting a pic of the insert.
Inside the red triangle, in the border of the round hole, there are tinny cracks with the orange paint, which is impossible with an original insert.
This shows that the paint was added in a later stage.
In addition to that, there are tinny scratches all over the insert, EXCEPT on the red triangle...
More importantly, the font used for this red triangle insert is wrong.
Best case, the faded insert is original and the red triangle was added (difficult to tell just based on the pics).
Worst case, the whole insert is fake.

My immediate concern is if the insert was faded from black to almost ghost, how come the red still stays so red...

Because it was freshly painted.
