Made 5 posts same day as he register to establish a “footprint”. Random bs posts . PM’d me about a watch, but didn’t advise which brand. I asked him what brand watch he was referring too.... no response. Beware of this guy.

Can confirm this guy is a scammer.

PM'd last night about a watch I have listed for sale with his personal email included.

Sent an email to this address.

Response came this morning asking if I'd be interested in trades. Of course, the TRF link included in the email to his collection was a bogus phishing link.

Noticed he was banned this morning before receiving his email response so my guard was up. But if I hadn't, I easily could have fallen for this as I haven't sold here in quite some time and am just not up to speed on all the scams.

Yep...I got the link as well. I obviously didnt click it. It looks like a TRF link, so it's easy to get fooled into clicking it. If you click, then it's game over, you were phished successfully They will have your sign in credentials. This kinda BS makes buying / selling / trading more and more difficult. It's not fun anymore.

I was also contacted by this individual. I mistakenly clicked on his link. After realizing it was a potential scams, I changed my password. Is there anything else I should do? Thank you in advance.

To the OP, you made 3 threads about scammers. However you didn't report them the proper way. As Tim has referenced to you in the last 2 threads, you need to hit the red triangle and this will get the moderators attention and they will look into and ultimately ban the jackass's you are referring to. In the meantime, you might want to give a thank you to Tim, for weeding through your threads and banning the people you started a thread about.
