1680 bracelet
I have a 1680 red submariner, with no bracelet, what came on it originally, and what would be the best bracelet to put on it if i can not find the original

depends on the year. A modern 93150 is a proper replacement and easier/cheaper to come by..

+1 on 93150 :) If you like lighter tinny bracelet go for the folded 9315.

Up until about -77-78 it came on a 9315 with 380 endlinks as far as I know. After that it came on 93150 with 580 endlinks. I have a -78 1680 with original 93150 bracelet, VC clasp code.
I suggest you get a nice 93150 if you are going to wear it. edit: just noticed that you said red, then it came on a 9315. Still, get a 93150. |

I prefer the lighter, thinner, clankier old folded links
