Oris 65

Just picked up a pre-owned Oris 65 for my first (sorta) dive watch. I envision this being a summer and more casual “beater.”

I love the relatively small size and the rubber band is comfy.

I’m enjoying it so far!

On a Rolex note, the dealer had a preowned bluesy in the case. I haven’t tried on a Sub so I figured I’d see how it wears...it felt smaller than I thought it would! However, I was unimpressed by the bracelet. It felt lighter and the clasp was thin...almost like it was stamped tin or something. I don’t know how old the watch is but the lady thought early-mid 90s. Are the bracelets supposed to feel kinda light and thin? My only frame of reference is my DJ41 on jubilee so maybe I’m just unfamiliar.

Congrats on the 65, it’s a fun watch that I’ve enjoyed since it first came out.

Re: 5 digit subs - that’s how the bracelets were; much different than today’s bracelets. Plusses ans minusses to each. I happen to like both

I love that style 65. Wish they did more variations of that dial. I usually don't like the feel of the bezel and crown at watches in that price point but that one feels solid.
