Stolen watch in London

Hey all - me and friend were attacked by 5/6 guys in central london alley at midnight and watch was taken. I have added to different stolen registries and filed a police report. what else can i do?

Monitor eBay, watch forum sales sections and your local gumtree!
Scumbags like that are usually not very smart and will probably try to fence it for some drugs.
