Holy guacamole...

Man, I've been gone for several days and the whole place is upside down...

Guess only good can come out of a shake-up, an involuntary filtering of sorts... But hey, some of the old-timers are posting again! Glad to see you back, guys and gals

Guess what I'm trying to say is - I missed this place, with the good and the bad. Can't help it, there is no utopia, so we have to take it at face value. I miss it all!

BTW - during my exhausting travels (I have been on 7 planes in the last month - and none of the trips included layovers, nice when you have a Delta hub in your city ), I got to meet Pav and have a drink or two. What a pleasure it has been - he is every bit as cool of a guy as I expected. Cheers, my new friend!

Good on ya, Greg! Glad you had a good time, even if the traveling was exhausting!

Yeah, we've had a little "Come to Jesus" meeting or two around here. The place is downright spiffy now, don't ya think?

"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts
they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure."

He'd be a 'droid guy. There's no way he'd put up with Job's control.

Thanks Bruno, and I would never do that. TRF is not some ominous being, it consists of people, good and bad. I have made entirely too many friends here to just turn my back when the times change.

TJ and TP were indeed hugely impressive men and perhaps they'd have loved the gadget, possibly some Apple gear.

They would have only used Sony X series for portable listening though. No shitepod stuff.

You might be right, Paul. Although.... TJ might just like that new iPod Touch that's just coming out about now. I bet I could sell him on it!

Would I still be 'dead straight' if I felt pretty sometimes?

And THANKS Paul, the feeling is (expectedly) mutual.
