Three Explorer 2s in my collection. It’s one of my favorite models. The polar is such a nice change up after so many black dial professionals.

I'm being tempted!
I love the white dial 216570. Would you get rid of these 2 watches to fund it?
I have a subC no date as well as a couple of other nice watches to keep me company.

I would, but that's just me. I have no love for both the Tudor and the PAM

I would prefer the EXPII over that combo. That said, that's just me. Let us know how you decide.

Love swing everyone’s beautiful EXPII watches!

After i decided I would by my first Rolex watch I began browsing models and decided the explorer 2 would be my most likely choice. This thread has solidified my decision to go with this model. Now I just have to decided on face color. I originally wanted the black face but the polar has began to grow on me. I will be happy with either but I’m sure once I try them on at an AD it will help me make up my mind.

Great looking pair !

An Explorer 39, and a DJ 41 added to these and one could have a great, wearable, complete collection !

Explorer is on the shortlist.

DJ, meh, lots of other watches on my list ahead of that reference.

I am officially on my AD’s wait list for this watch with a black face. Wish I could try it on and see it in person before I commit to buying it but I’m sure I’ll love it by looking at all these pics
