Identify Seiko 5 automatic
Hi,
I’m trying to identify this Seiko 5 automatic so I can get instructions for it. This watch doesn’t operate like any of the other automatics I own. So far, web searches haven’t been enough. What I’ve seem to have figured out so far is - that the crown only pulls out 1 notch and it looks like it only sets the date. - The crown pushes in and it seems to set the day. I can’t figure out how to wind or set time. Here are some additional details from the case back: Serial #245086 Other # 7009-3110 Thanks. |

Give it another pull...sometimes the second position (for setting the hands) can need a little encouragement. It's only auto wind, not manual.

You wind it by wearing it on your wrist and you set it by manipulating the crown. They are all like that.

Thanks for responding. You’re right! I saw a YouTube video that gave me the courage to make the extra pull. Definitely different from my other watches.
