New Alpinist - Questions from a Noob

New to TRF. If I’m the wrong spot, please feel free to delete this thread.

I’m just curious whether anybody has their eyes on the new Alpinist line coming out this month. I really dig ref SPB123J1 but it looks like it’s only released in Japan. I don’t know how to upload a photo and i haven’t posted enough to paste a link to Seiko’s website.

Few general questions -

Think they’ll be hard to get? Any advice on scoring one (located in Dallas). Does anybody know whether it’ll be available in the US market?

All thoughts/advice for a newbie are much appreciated. Cheers!

Not sure if Japan market only or international, but shouldn't be hard to find online.

I'm fairly certain all three new Alpinists will be available in the US and shouldn't be hard to get.

My understanding is that they’re releasing four. Three are the ones referenced and pictured in the HODINKEE article, and another with a white dial, gold indices, and a green strap is elsewhere mentioned and pictured on the internet. The latter appear to be released in Japan - possibly on the 11th this month. I’m not sure whether it will be available in other markets though. I hope it is.

Thanks for the input folks. I hope they’re available. I’d snag one of the blue dial limited releases if I didn’t already have a blue dial DJ.
