How hard is it to size an "older" seamaster bracelet?
Hi all I just bought a 2255.80.00 - pic from internet attached :)
Is this hard to size? I jusssttttt learned how to do pin and collar on Seikos but feel this one might be a step up in complexity |

It's not.... Pin/collar like you mentioned... Just make sure you follow the arrows on the links for the direction you push the pins through and make sure you catch all the collars that fall out and it's easy as pie.

I agree, this one isn't very different than pins/collars for Seiko bracelets. Nice Omega!

Sounds like you can do this one yourself, but I am also sure if you take it to an Omega boutique in New York or wherever you are, they will size it for you for free. Nice watch btw.

Thanks!! I’m finding it impossible to get the pins out. Is glue common in these? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Make sure that you are pushing them out in the direction of the arrows and are using a punch that is small enough in diameter to do the job.

I gave up. Made it all the way to needing to get a couple of pins back in but they won't go. They bend super easily btw. Not sure why this was so difficult. Maybe because it's an older watch, maybe the pins had glue/crud something on them, maybe I'm an idiot. Either way I need some new pins now. Guess I'll check out amazon!

Update. I couldn’t stop trying. Managed to get the pins in there and think it’s sized now. 2 hour battle. Given how difficult it was for me to get the pins to move I would be shocked if anything came lose at this point!
