Tudor old gold watch

Hi can any one shed any light on this watch it is 9ct gold with fixed gold strap I have searched hundreds off pics off Tudor watches but never come across one like this with the gold strap any info will be good thanks for reading maker is ds&s watch ser no 30334 watch movement no 2461

Very interesting.
I cannot read the inside of the case on my phone.

But 9kt, usually indicates a contracted case made in England.

You will see that occasionally.
Watch companies would import just the movement to avoid the heavy duties on gold and then they would be cased in country by another company.

Gold Tudors are pretty unusual.
I have never seen one with a gold band before.

ds&s is David Shackman and Sons, a UK company that made watch cases.

Locally made cases (UK, US, France, etc) avoided import taxes, as noted.

The number on the case is for the case. Not useful for dating the watch.

the date case is 1965 from the hall mark on the case and I have put the watch serial no on which is on the watch movement and also the case ser no I also have never seen one with a full complete gold strap that looks like it cant be removed

Although I would consider this an authorized Tudor watch in its original form, I'm pretty sure this watch would not be offered in there catalog.

Which will make any research almost impossible. Most likely, very few made especially with a gold band.
