Bracelet replacement
Hi, when do you reckon it is time for a new bracelet for your rolex?
I mean, I can't tell if its not falling apart. After a service (where it has been polished) I feel like it is as good as new although the bracelet is 50 years old. Are there any rules of thumb? |

I've never been good at that, and I've been thru 4 bracelets on my mid 70's 1655. I usually noticed bent rivets or metal worn thru near or at a rivet pin interface. I didn't realize until recently that these could be repaired......so I'll send a couple old ones off. I have seen some gage wear by the amount that the bracelet bends to support its own weight.
