A refreshing change.

This Everest strap is so comfy and such a refreshing change from the bracelet. I purchased the strap about 12 months ago and then questioned myself if I should just leave the Daytona on the bracelet anyway a few weeks ago I decided to pop it on and I’ve gotta say as it stands at the moment I much prefer the band over the bracelet it just completely changes the look and feel and as I say it’s so comfortable to wear.

Taking the weight of the bracelet away from any watch and wearing the watch on rubber, leather, synthetic or on a nato does make a significant change to the way the watch wears on your wrist.

It's a good look OP congratulations.

There is nothing like a strap watch. The versatility is always a bit better than the bracelet. That said, Rolex is a bracelet watch in my collection but I totally get the vibe with a strapped Daytona. Imagine if Rolex gave their customers a strap/bracelet option like Omega has done for decades……. It seems the engineers at Omega designs their sport models to look and work equally well on strap or bracelet. If only Rolex would do this for their dive models.

Ironic ,how many straps we see on Rolex, since value has increased significantly .
Its just to keep the bracelet pristine .
Nothing to do how comfy the strap is .

Stupid statement mate
SOME people fancy a change now and again my bracelet has been on since I purchased it new from AD about 10 years ago Just changed it to rubber a few weeks ago for a change and nothing to do with keeping the bracelet pristine.

It looks good.

I have tried many straps on my watches, but the bracelets always win in the end. I now have a drawer full of unused straps.

One day Rolex will figure out that they will need to get into this game. Apple knew it out if the gates with their watch products. At my omega AD it was pretty straightforward to get the leather strap and deployment for my SMP and I was happy to pay a premium to get the OEM parts.

Did this with a BB58, and i was shocked how much i enjoyed the rubber. It’s so comfortable! I think having a watch full time on a rubber strap like this is a great idea. I prefer bracelet but nothing beats rubber in the summertime. It’s so light and wears so well.

I agree it’s very odd that Rolex still don’t offer other OEM strap options, especially considering the amount of control they clearly want to exert over their watches even past the point of sale.

People would undoubtedly pay a premium to get an OEM rubber (or even leather) strap, but at the moment they’re just gifting sales to RubberB, Everest, etc. TBH, if Rolex had offered an integrated rubber strap option themselves, RubberB probably wouldn’t even exist.

That works well with the black dial. Not generally a fan of a Rolex on rubber but this looks good.

I love it! It's a great look. Congratulations! I, too, have been pleasantly very surprised by the comfort and look of the Rubber B on my 116515LN, which began with a croc strap. No going back and no longing for a bracelet.
