Dear group , I have just joined the forum. first of all I need to (remove the back) to have a look in does it screw anticlockwise or clockwise???
The winder has come out. It still has the shaft connected. is it possible to fix myself? Thank you (Shropshire) UK |

It screws in clockwise. If you have the skills, and the proper tools, you can fix it yourself. If you’ve never done it before, a Rolex is not a watch you want to practice on.

Righty tighty lefty loosey. If you had to ask then you have no business opening the case back The winder is called a crown. You need to take it in to a watchmaker to fix it if it has disconnected from the watch |
