Vintage Seiko in Tokyo (or Seoul)

Hi WIS - heading to Tokyo and Seoul for a work trip in Feb and will have about 1/2 a day at the beginning and end of the trip for some personal time.

Wanted to see if there are any recommendations for vintage Seiko, or just cool watch shopping in general that you recommend.

I was going to hit up Lemonsha in Ginza, Grand Seiko Boutique in Ginza, see if I can weasel myself into FP Journe, but those will mostly be look-see trips.

Not too sure where to start in Seoul.

Looking to see if any vintage Seiko 5 / King Seiko / Grand Seiko catch my eye while I am over there - not too interested in modern pieces for now.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Lemon’s overrated.

Best bets are Watch CTI in Ginza, Jack Road in Nakano Broadway (there are a few smaller dealers there too as well as the ubiquitous pawn shops where you may get lucky) and the stalls and shops in Ueno Market.

Honestly, most trade is now done online, but good luck anyway!

Vintage cameras and watches? Hide the credit card!

I bought my LHSA MP-3 set in Ginza, among many other bits of equipment, so yeah… I speak from experience.
