Sky-dweller and VC Overseas

Well, I finally have to make a decision. I’ve asked before and now that I have them all together, I just can’t decide. All I know for sure is I’m keeping the Blue Sky. I know there will be opinions and I’ll post a pic. I’m leaning toward 2 blues!

The dial on the Blue VC is amazing and mesmerizing. I vote for the two blues. Congrats to you!

I prefer the two Sky-Dwellers. I have owned VC before and like the brand but the Sky-Dwellers are the watches for me. Buy a Jubilee for one and keep the other on an Oyster bracelet and enjoy.

I have been thinking a LOT about the blue vs black on the VC. I have not had a chance to handle them side by side, but from what I have been able to gather online the finish of the dials is actually very different and I was leaning more towards the black, if you could post detailed shots of both the VS models side by side in different light it would help me out a lot!

Blue is gloss blue film over polished metal. Black is more gentle radial brushing like a datejust. Way different for sure. That's why this VC blue and his Rolex blue aren't really all that similar. The VC blue comes off dark navy to black in a lot of indoor settings. Then electric blue in sun.

I’d have the blue VC and none of the others.

Absolutely nothing comes close to VC blue which goes from black to vibrant blue depending on lighting. And then you add the instant strap changes and its gameover!

Personally I'd rather have both of those with a blue dial, although any dial on a Sky Dweller is a good looker to me.

I also have a WG black dial SkyDweller. There was no blue option when they first came out. They are a great pair for sure.
