Considering they already have what are probably the most sought-after models, how about something unspectacular beautiful, an Explorer 124270?

This would add some understated tool watch style.

I feel like you’ve answered your own question… skip the Rolex and go straight onto the other brands you like. If you’re searching and having to ask others what Rolex they think you should buy you’re clearly unsure, I’ve always been very certain about what I want when buying a watch.

Having said that I’m still yet to make my move into other brands. I have owned breitling omega tag seiko but always wanted to move into an ALS, PP and VC.

Daytona for me a slight optimistic however

Probably would take the right sky dweller

Would consider an OP 41

Considered a explorer 2 but don't like it even at the £8100 RRP

The Santos with the quick switch straps is a very nice watch.

I had one and regret selling

YM Blue, Op41 Green, or Milgauss ZBlue would be different enough and give a pop of color. Everyone needs at least one blue dial.

Or, you could go big with an original WG Smurf and flip the SubC for something else.
