Dilemma.. Trade my BLNR for an Omega? Would you do this swap?

Been contemplating selling my BLNR and buying a 50th anniversary Snoopy with added cash. Would you guys do this trade?

Other watches in my lineup:

124060
DJ41 fluted jubilee
Bluesy
Zenith Chronomaster Sport white dial

Oh. Hell. No

Omega couldn't pay me to wear a Snoopy.

Do what you like best. Personally I am not a fan of the snoopy omega, though I know it is popular. It is more rare, though the BLNR on jubilee will also be kind-of a short run. If it were me and if I loved the snoopy, I would trade the bluesy or blue datejust (also had them). They are much easier to replace and both have similar blue dials.

the Snoopy is a great watch, but I wouldn't try a batgirl for it. However, if you have doubts on the batgirl hence you are willing to swap it.... go with your heart. it's really to each their own

No.

I might consider it for a 321 with cash the other way.

Every time I see your signature it makes me chuckle. Well done.

Thanks. The DJ41 will be with me forever since it was my wedding gift. What makes you say that the BLNR on jubilee will be a kind-of short run?

Because out of all the GMTS, colors and combos, over the history of Rolex GMTS, the 126710BLNR on jubilee has only be available since 2019, and the ADs don’t get many of them compared to other watches. Now if Rolex keeps it alive for years to come, then forget what I said, but I doubt it will be available in that exact configuration too much longer. I would at least wait and see what Rolex does in March. I added more to my post above, maybe trade the bluesy, easier to get and you have the blue dial with the datejust and submariner with the 124060.

No. I’d rather fall for Rolex hype than Omega hype.

Good insight. Thanks! Not in a rush to make any move right now... just entertaining some ideas. The open case back of that snoopy is a thing of beauty imo

Rolex GMTs should never be traded for any Omega.

So I just looked it up again…yeah it is pretty darn cool! I get it, but I would wait just a bit longer and see what happens this year. Love the Zenith BTW, one of the best built cronos in the market. You have a fantastic collection.

No way. I'm sure in 99% of people this will cause very rapid regret. Only if you're the 1%!

Then get a moonwatch. I’ve had it since may but do notice a slight lack of quality feel compared to all my Rolexes. Even the 5 digit ones. I’m starting to be over it. I have a BLNR batgirl too. It is feels much more solid than the omega and its blue is dazzling. I wouldn’t consider it.

I wouldn't personally.

But as for selling the BLNR it's still a great time to flip. Prices hit rock bottom a couple months ago and have been going up since. "The happening" has been reversed.

Not in a million years. The snoopy is nice but once people wake up and realize it's just another LE Omega (like all the others) and the hype dies, you'll realize you're traded away a highly prized GMT with the best color combo...

Rolex hype is much safer than Omega hype

I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing a snoopy. I find it corny as hell. So no, i wouldn’t.

No way I would do it. While the Snoopy is a fun and interesting watch, I think you'll regret it in the long run.

Never. If you want a special Speedmaster, go for the 321. Otherwise, you will deeply regret it.

A Rolex for an Omega? Are you Pierce Brosnan?
